The Texas Voice Center in Houston was founded in 1989 by Dr. Richard Stasney as a facility for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of voice disorders. Dr. Apurva A. Thekdi joined the practice in 2009, working alongside Dr. Stasney until his retirement at the end of December 2016. Dr. Thekdi is now the director of the Texas Voice center and is the laryngologist who will coordinate your voice care (for more information on Dr. Thekdi, please see the Doctors page.) State of the art equipment for visualization of the larynx is used, enabling the diagnosis of and subsequent optimal treatment recommendations for lesions not visible with traditional medical equipment. The Texas Voice Center provides a wide variety of services for the patient with voice problems, both professional voice users and lay persons. We invite you to browse our site and learn about our center. If you have questions not answered in these pages, do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
Your voice is a representation of who you are to the world around you.
